Programme Support Assistant - Tomorrow's Engineers Programme

Salary: circa £23k
Location: Central London with some regional travel

Background
Tomorrow’s Engineers is an overarching programme designed to bring alive classroom science and maths and showcase engineering careers through interactions with industry professionals. It comprises targeted outreach by engineering employers, engagements at regional events and an industry-funded programme of interventions, all underpinned by high quality careers resources.

The Role
EngineeringUK as coordinator of the Tomorrow’s Engineers programme, has an exciting opening for an individual to act as administrative support to the Tomorrow’s Engineers team. Reporting to the Tomorrow’s Engineers Programme Director, the support executive will assist the Tomorrow’s Engineers team to deliver a range of projects across the UK.

Requirements
You will be a motivated, confident and efficient administrator able to work on your own initiative. The ability to use CRM systems such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel) will be an essential aspect of this role

Your previous experience could include education, business, industry, Government or the Third sector.

Regional Engagement Manager [Employer Engagement & Outreach]

It comprises targeted outreach by engineering employers, engagements at regional events and an industry-funded programme of interventions, all underpinned by high quality careers resources.

The Role
EngineeringUK as coordinator of the Tomorrow’s Engineers programme, has an exciting opening for an individual to co-lead a team of Employer Support Managers (ESMs) who work closely with employers to develop their STEM engagement strategy with schools. The programme has a high profile within the engineering community and is under constant development so this is an exciting opportunity to contribute.

Requirements
You will be a confident, motivated, flexible and experienced leader with a background that could include education, business and industry, Government or the Third sector. Experience of managing a distributed team and stakeholder engagement would be beneficial.

Senior Research Analyst - EngineeringUK

A newly created role, the Senior Research Analyst is an opportunity for an analytical individual with an interest in education issues to provide insight into young people’s educational ambitions; their perceptions of awareness of engineering; and the effectiveness of EngineeringUK’s educational programmes to inspire tomorrow’s engineers. 

The successful candidate will not only be able to identify gaps in our research evidence base, but also possess the methodological knowledge and quantitative prowess to address these.
