EngineeringUK announces appointment of Chief Executive

EngineeringUK today announced the appointment of Mark Titterington as its new Chief Executive. Mark, who will join the organisation in October, has held various business leadership roles throughout his career and has a background in government relations and corporate communications. He joins EngineeringUK after more than a decade at Syngenta, one of the world's leading plant science and agriculture technology companies, where he is currently the Global Head of Corporate Affairs and a member of the Executive Team.

Commenting on Mark’s appointment, EngineeringUK Chair Malcolm Brinded said “I’m delighted to welcome Mark to EngineeringUK at an exciting time for the organisation. Mark’s business leadership experience and wide communications and policy background, together with the new perspective he brings, mean he is well placed to build on the achievements of Paul Jackson and the team, and to work with the engineering community to deliver our collective ambition to inspire tomorrow’s engineers. I very much look forward to working with him.”

Mark Titterington said "EngineeringUK is playing a critical role in inspiring the next generation to pursue careers in engineering, which is so important for the development and prosperity of our country. I am absolutely delighted to have been given the opportunity to join the team and lead the organisation in its next phase of development".
