Our governance structure
We have a Board of Trustees, as well as panels and colleges, and several committees. These include the Business & Industry Panel and the Professional Engineering Committee. Our Board of 16 members includes the Chair, elected and appointed members.
How we are funded
Our core funding comes from the professional registration fees of engineers. We also have a range of industry supporters, trusts and foundations whose financial contribution enables us to deliver activities for schools and work towards achieving our mission.
How we use funding
Our funding allows us to deliver the work outlined in our strategy: from our research programme and advocacy work, to The Tomorrow’s Engineers Code and Corporate Membership.
Our funding also makes it possible for us to offer our activities to schools free of charge and provide bursaries to engage underrepresented groups.
