The future engineering workforce will draw on young people in STEM education and training. Our research covers primary, secondary education, further education and apprenticeships, T Levels and higher education, highlighting the educational pathways into a career in engineering for young people in the UK.
We examine the successes and the gaps as well as considering how to address skills shortages and increase STEM engagement with young people. We look at the pathways for young people and educational outcomes in schools and colleges across the UK.
