How to improve diversity in engineering
The second Talking Point of the Big Engineering Conversation is around the importance of diversity and how to improve it in the engineering industry. Insights from the EngineeringUK team cover what we mean by diversity (gender, ethnicity, socio-economics, neurodiversity etc), why it’s essential all young people have access to careers information and guidance and how reaching children who don’t know about engineering helps tackle underrepresentation in the workforce.
