We are delighted to be part of the Kickstart Scheme, which provides 6-month paid job opportunities for young people to gain experience of working in some of Britain’s most exciting companies and organisations, funded by the Government.
With support from NSAR, EngineeringUK have created 3 new roles that young people can apply for directly through their work coach. Based in London, the roles will sit within different functions of the organisation – finance, business development and Tomorrow’s Engineers.
Through exciting programmes and projects, EngineeringUK work to inspire tomorrow’s engineers and increase the number and diversity of young people going into engineering. We are passionate about inspiring a new generation of engineers and making a positive difference to young people’s lives.
Who’s eligible for Kickstart?
Jobs from the Kickstart Scheme are open to 16–24-year-olds, who are claiming Universal Credit, and are at risk of long-term unemployment. If you have a work coach, talk to them about the Kickstart Scheme and find out whether it’s right for you.
We are very excited about being part of the scheme and helping young people get the experience they need.
