We want young people, schools, careers advisers and parents to have access to up-to-date information and high quality, engaging careers inspiration. Our resources include classroom posters and activities, information booklets, a presentation and a digital quiz.
We make these resources available to download and order on Neon and encourage anyone delivering engineering engagement activities with young people to incorporate these careers inspiration resources into their work.
Our careers resources are created in partnership with other organisations through our careers working group. The group comprises education, outreach, careers, education and marketing specialists from the BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, Institution of Civil Engineers, Institution of Engineering and Technology, Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Institute of Physics, Royal Academy of Engineering, STEM Learning, UCL Engineering, as well as a secondary school teacher.
In addition to the resources created for young people, the careers working group produces resources and guidance for STEM Ambassadors and other professionals talking to young people about careers in engineering. These are made available on the Tomorrow’s Engineers website.
