National Careers Week 2025

A celebration of careers guidance and free education resources across the UK

National Careers Week 2025 takes place 3 to 8 March 2025

National Careers Week (#NCW2025) is all about getting young people up to speed with all the options available to them to pursue their future career.

NCW is a dedicated week every year allowing schools, colleges, universities, alternative provision settings and organisations to share careers messaging and inspire young people to think about their future. It’s backed with free, high-quality, downloadable, digital and video resources for educators to support planning and delivery.
Careers resources launched during the Week are hosted at the National Careers Week Virtual Careers Fair – a digital hub which had more than 350,000 views and 43,000 downloads last year.

EngineeringUK are proud to support National Careers Week using the careers resources from across our programmes. We’ll share our materials, and those of our partners and supporters, through our social media channels.

Alongside our existing careers resources, we are introducing a brand new careers resource from EUK Education called ‘Unthink this!’  This new resource takes the form of a series of activities looking at how creativity is an essential part of engineering and technology, encouraging students to use their imaginations.
