Engaging young people
Our research shows that the more interactions young people have with industry professionals, the more likely they are to consider a career in engineering and tech.
We work with schools to showcase these careers to young people, giving them opportunities to learn about STEM and understand the wide range of career opportunities available in the sector.
EUK Education
EUK Education brings together everything we do for schools, teachers, careers leaders and young people. We want to make quality STEM inspiration accessible for schools and teachers. EUK Education offers that, from curriculum-linked programmes to lesson plans and insightful resources. It includes accessible funding for schools, engaging activities and inspirational role models in engineering and technology.
Big Bang
The Big Bang mission is to showcase surprising possibilities and connect young people to inspiring role models in STEM. The Big Bang Fair inspires the next generation through the UK’s largest STEM fair, The Big Bang Competition rewards young people’s project work in science, engineering and technology. Big Bang at School supports teachers to bring a bit of the Big Bang magic to their own schools.
Climate Schools Programme
The Climate Schools Programme helps students explore solutions to tackling climate change and discover how engineering and technology play a key role in this.
Covering English, geography and science, the curriculum-linked resources and activities have been developed together with industry. Through taking part, students will develop skills such as teamwork, problem solving and communication – all vital for future careers.
Energy Quest
Energy Quest is a curriculum-aligned science lesson for 11 to 13 year olds which introduces students to the concept of 'acting like an engineer’. Students work in teams and use problem solving skills and their science knowledge.

Find out moreBursaries
We want more young people to consider careers in engineering and technology. So, we offer bursaries to help inspire students who don’t necessarily already have a passion for science or engineering.
We particularly hope this funding will help engage young people from groups that are currently underrepresented in engineering and tech.
Support our work
We don’t charge schools for any of the programmes, resources or services we offer. Financial support helps us develop and deliver programmes to support more schools and reach more young people.
