Job title: EngineeringUK Board Member
Reporting to: Director of Business Development and Partnerships 
Salary: Volunteer. This is an unpaid role, but reasonable travel and subsistence costs will be reimbursed.
Contract: Initial 4 Year Term - which is extendable for a second four-year term
Location: London/ hybrid
Closing date: 5 February 2025, 12pm

About the role

We are a not-for-profit organisation committed to increasing the diversity and numbers of young people entering engineering and technology to meet the future workforce needs, as well as promoting roles that help us work towards net zero and drive environmental sustainability.

We are looking for passionate and committed individuals whose interests align with our goals. We would like them to bring a good understanding of the current experiences and perceptions of young people - this could be because the candidate is young themselves and/or it could be that they have a good understanding of young people through, for example, working in education, research, or outreach.

You’ll be an effective communicator and be committed to equity, diversity and inclusion.
