So, what’s it like to work at EngineeringUK?

We’re a purpose-driven team dedicated to inspiring the next generation into STEM careers and promoting a diverse and inclusive future workforce – so we’re quite a passionate bunch. Our values shape everything we do. We’re inclusive, collaborative, curious, insightful and driven.

  • Pension contributions: EngineeringUK provides a 10% employer contribution which helps support long-term financial security.

  • Annual bonus: We offer an annual bonus opportunity linked to the organisation's performance.

  • Health and wellbeing: There’s access to a subsidised onsite gym, free annual health checks (age-eligible), Covid and flu vaccinations plus an Employee Assistance Programme for health and wellbeing support.

  • Flexibility: Our core hours policy allows flexible start and finish times, with the option to begin the day between 8am and 10am and finish between 4pm and 6pm.

  • Family-friendly policies: Our enhanced family leave policies, including maternity, paternity, adoption, and carers’ leave help employees balance work and personal commitments.

Training and development

We’re committed to helping everyone reach their professional goals. We regularly assess individual development needs, offering training opportunities to support. There’s also an organisation-wide programme of training, covering areas such as mental health awareness, EDI and security.

Our offices

We’re lucky to work in an amazing central London building ‘with a view’! The office is a vibrant workspace, with a large terrace overlooking the Thames and Tower Bridge, well used on dry days.

Our office space is jointly shared with STEM Learning and Engineering Council. The communal meeting rooms, kitchen and terrace are enjoyed by all, so there’s a vibrancy and lots of common goals.

Hybrid working

We're fans of hybrid working. Typically, the team work in the office 2 days a week, and the rest is remote. We ask part-time team members to be in the office for 40% of their working week.
