EngineeringUK has today announced the appointment of Jacqui Ferguson as a trustee. Jacqui brings a wealth of experience in digital transformation in the global tech industry.
Jacqui is the former CEO of Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services UK, Ireland, Middle East Mediterranean and Africa, with extensive global experience including living and working in Silicon Valley for 3 years. Prior to Hewlett Packard she worked for Electronic Data Systems and KPMG.
Commenting on Jacqui’s appointment, Chairman Malcolm Brinded said: “I am delighted to welcome Jacqui to the Board as EngineeringUK embarks on an ambitious new strategy with many partners from across the wide world of modern engineering and technology. Her multi-sector business and technology expertise together with her desire to inspire young people will be a real asset and I look forward to working with her as we inspire tomorrow’s engineers”.
Jacqui, who recently won the inaugural Dame Helen Alexander NED to Watch Award, said “I am delighted to be joining EngineeringUK as a trustee at a time when it’s never been more important for the country to develop tomorrow’s engineers and encourage more young people, especially girls, to follow what is one of the most exciting careers you can have.”
Jacqui is Non-Executive Director at Wood PLC, Tesco Bank and Croda PLC and a member of the Scottish First Ministers Advisory Board for Women and Girls aimed at tackling gender equality.
